This isn't just about having a business or a blog, or even writing or creating beautiful things for other people to enjoy. It's about paying homage to those who paved the way for me, and giving back to them the little I can in return for their endless love and intangible gifts.

What's in a name? It's a combination of two very important women in my life, my Grandmothers, Loretta and Flora, as well as my passion for baking and pastry. 

[It is beauty and love, 
ribbons and lace, 
my Siamese cat eyeing my every move from the nearby kitchen counter,
 licking the last bits of brownie batter from the bowl,
making my boyfriend Brandon's favorite chocolate mousse... on a random Wednesday, 
or enjoying a cookie warm from the oven (before dinner).]

Blayre Miller is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America, with a Bachelor's degree in Baking and Pastry Arts Management. 

The majority of her time is spent working as a Bakery Supervisor at the Hilton Hotel, or blogging, cooking, and writing.
